Introduction

Hoshimachi Suisei (星街すいせい) is a Japanese virtual YouTuber. She began posting videos as an independent creator in March 2018. In May 2019, she became affiliated with Hololive Production through their newly created music label, INoNaKa Music, before joining the agency's main branch later the same year. Her YouTube activity consists primarily of live streaming herself singing karaoke, playing video games, talking to her fans, or collaborating with other talents. She is particularly well known among fans for her skill at Tetris and her singing ability.

Suisei is considered one of Hololive’s well-known singers, having released 14 official singles and two albums. Some of her most popular singles include “Stellar Stellar,” “Ghost,” and “Next Color Planet.” Additionally, her first album, "Still Still Stellar", was released on 29 September 2021 and her second album, “Specter” was released on January 25, 2023.

First vtuber who perform at The First Take

Hololive’s Hoshimachi Suisei continues to impress as she just became the first ever VTuber to perform at The First Take.

In case you’re wondering why this is a big deal, The First Take is a popular Japanese YouTube channel that features some of Japan’s artists and bands. The concept of the channel is that each artist/band has one take to perform their song, making it feel more “live” than a typical performance.

To give you a better idea, The First Take has features popular Japanese artists such as Lisa (of Demon Slayer and SAO fame), YOASOBI, Aimer, and many more.
